- What's the difference between Fast and Quality mode?
- Fast Mode uses the U²-Net-P model (4MB), which loads quickly and processes images in 2-5 seconds. Quality Mode uses the full U²-Net model (176MB), which takes longer to load initially but produces more accurate results on complex images with fine details like hair or fur.
- Why does the first processing take longer?
- The first time you click "Remove Background," the AI model needs to download and load into your browser (4-176MB depending on mode). This only happens once - subsequent images process much faster.
- What resolution is the output?
- The tool outputs the image at its full original resolution. We use advanced high-resolution thresholding to ensure edges remain sharp even though the AI model runs at a lower internal resolution.
